ICE CREAM / FARM / DAIRY
Ice Cream Factory, Farm & Maker Tours Near You
Ice Cream and Farm tours are great for creative date ideas and family adventures with many factory production lines surprisingly kid friendly and educational.
01. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
Waterbury, VT
The Waterbury site is the only Ben & Jerry’s factory open to the public. The very first factory, built in 1985, continues to manufacture upwards of 350,000 pints per day while offering our fans a sneak peek at their humble beginnings. Guided tours have allowed them to share with millions of guests the evolution of what started as a small local company from the early days in the gas station.

02. Tillamook Creamery Tour
Tillamook, OR
Enjoy self-guided Tillamook Creamery tours. Get started in the Grand Entrance, learn more in the Farm Exhibit, explore the Viewing Gallery and finish off in the Dining Hall and Shop. You can start wherever you like, grab a lick of ice cream when the mood strikes, and set your own pace as you learn about their heritage. No reservations are needed for the self-guided Tillamook Creamery tours.
TILLA TIP: Come during the week to see our employees working in the facility real-time!
Grab a scoop or two at the end. I liked the Chocolate Peanut Butter – Smooth chocolate ice cream with peanut buttery swirl!!
